Why we’re recruiting for this role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Karimia Institute’s Fundraising Department. We have made significant progress with our fundraising efforts, we now want to expand our team. You will be working within a strong Islamic environment and ethos, our goal is to share the light of Islam and the Quran alongside other key projects. To enable this we need much-needed funds, as an Islamic charity we rely on the generosity of donors and philanthropists to support our work. Your role will be to generate funds using a variety of methods.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify prospective donors
- Build relationships
- Prepare fundraising materials
- Organise fundraising events
- Donor stewardship
- Donor database management
- Monitor fundraising progress
The successful applicant will be:
- Confident
- Have strong communication skills
- Polite and courteous
- Able to develop rapport with potential donors
- A team player
- Able to work to challenging targets
- Adopting a professional approach
- Hard-working
Salary: Depending on experience
