Our Family Tarbiya Retreat 2024, concluded with overwhelming success, attracting 115 participants from across the United Kingdom. Held at the picturesque Hollowford Centre in Castleton (Peak District) from August 25th to 28th, this year’s retreat combined elements of a holiday, a spiritual retreat and a community-building event, offering a unique experience for all attendees.
The retreat was meticulously designed to cater to both adults and children, providing a variety of activities that promoted learning, spiritual growth and physical well-being. Attendees enjoyed engaging lectures, interactive workshops, and sports activities, ensuring a balance of education and recreation. The event’s focus on nurturing Islamic values within the family structure resonated deeply with participants, many of whom expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to connect with like-minded families in a serene and supportive environment.
Karimia Institute’s efforts to create a space where families could bond, learn, and grow together were evident in the event’s well-rounded program.
