Eid ul Adha Sermon

Published on October 1st, 2011 in News

Prophet Muhammad’s Last Sermon
Delivered on Mount Arafat on 9th of Zil Hijjah, 10 A.H. 632 A.C.

After praising, and thanking God, he said: “O People! listen carefully to my words, for I do not know whether I shall ever be amongst you again after this year. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and TAKE THESE WORDS TO THOSE WHO COULD NOT BE PRESENT HERE TODAY.

A Muslim most be honest, trustworthy and responsible

O People! just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Treat others justly so that no one would be unjust to you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. God has forbidden you to take usury (interest), therefore all riba obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital , however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer inequity. God has judged that there shall be no interest and that all the interest due to `Abbas ibn `Abd al Muttalib shall henceforth be waived.

Never Tamper with Divine principles

O people! the Unbelievers indulge in tampering with the calendar in order to make permissible that which God forbade, and to forbid that which God has made permissible… there are four sacred months, Zil Qaida, Zil Hajja, Muharram and Rajab. Beware of the devil, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

Be kind to Women

O People, it is true that you have certain rights over your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under God’s trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness, treat your women well and be kind to them, for they are your partners and committed helpers. It is your right and they do not make friends with anyone of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste…

Strictly observe the five pillars of Islam

O People! listen to me in earnest, worship God, perform your five daily prayers, fast during the month of Ramadan, pay zakah from  your wealth, Perform the Hajj when you can afford to do so.

Do not be racist ! since the best amongst you is the one who fears God

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Remember that all Muslims are brothers they form one universal brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves. Remember, one day you will appear before God and you will answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.

Preach and spread the message of Islam

O People! NO PROPHET OR MESSENGER WILL COME AFTER ME AND NO NEW FAITH WILL BE BORN. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I am leaving you with the Book of God (the QUR’AN) and my SUNNAH, (the prophetic life style), if you follow them you will never go astray. All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and they to others, may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness O God! that I have conveyed the message to your people.

Peace For Humanity Confrence: Dr Musharraf After Thoughts

Published on September 29th, 2011 in News

Dr. Musharraf Hussain CEO of Karimia Institute  congratulates sheikh al Islam

At the peace for humanity conference held in in Wembley Arena, Prof. Tahir al qadri said “i dream of a world that will be free from fear, terrorism, injustice and hatred” more than 12,000 people applauded and pledged to work with sheikh al islam to  realise this wonderful dream. In order to turn his dream into a realty prof. Tahiral qadri presented a strategy for achieving  this, it was presented in the form of London declaration for peace, here we examine the man behind this historic resolution that lays down  guidelines for peace in our troubled world for coming decade of peace.

In addition to the historic London declaration a  collective cross-religious peace prayer was also a powerful symbolic gesture of Muslims desire to work for peace, this was recognition of the fact that we live in a global village amongst people of different faiths. The collective prayer is a symbolic of Islam’s tolerant and peace loving nature, it clearly demonstrated Muslims willingness to cooperate and work with others for the common good. This was a unique event in modern history as it is first time that a Muslim scholar has invited other religious leaders to share and pray in this way.

Many distinguished guests and scholars including Pir Amin al Hassant of Bhera sharif, pir Fiyaz al Hassan and pir  Abdal qadir and teachers from Al azhar echoed the sentiments and endorsed Sheikh al Islams dream for peace. They stressed that it is essential to separate Islam from terrorism, Islam is religion of peace and prosperity not purveyor of  a war,  they emphasised the positive relationship between Islam and politics, so that we can make contributions to world prosperity and happiness.

The rapturous applause and standing ovation from the conference participants and the resounding endorsements from distinguished Muslim dignitaries clearly gives Sheihk al Islam Prof. Tahir alQadiri a unique position amongst Muslim leaders, it gives him authority and authenticity. May Allah increase his stature and enhance his status for the good of humanity. Ameen.
